Blood Orange Griffin

Once upon a time, a young man was sent by the king to retrieve the rarest of things, the feather from The Griffin’s tail. Like that rare object, our Griffin is worthy of a great quest. The magical combination of wheat, barley, and a special yeast makes this unfiltered wheat beer a quaff of lore. The Weizen yeast produces spicy citrus, clove, and pepper notes unique in the beer kingdom; now combine this with the sweet citrus of the blood orange and the rareness shines through with complexity. Griffin is a hefeweizen (hef-e-vite-zen) ale also known as a weissbier (vice-beer). Hefeweizen literally means “yeast wheat”
