The Reindeer is a full bodied hoppy beer made with Voss Kviek Norwegian farmhouse yeast. Hallertau Blanc and Huell Melon hops add pear-like, white wine, and melon characters. Low bitterness and high hopping rates give a nice fruit juiciness that is expected in a modern American IPA. To this Holiday Variant we have added nearly 6 pounds per barrel of Lingonberry fruit puree, not only making it a bright red color but adding an even fruitier note to this already fruit forward beer... think Cran-raspberry meets white wine.
