Moonflower Monsters

The devil in you all. Moonflower Monsters; blossoms on a single vine. Long, white, trumpet shaped petals slowly unfurl as the evening comes and the monster slowly rises from its dark confines. Nocturnal blooms and nocturnal urges are one in the same, though one feasts on moonlight and the other blood. Dawn arrives and the petals slowly curl up and close; the monster returns to its dark confines. Time passes and blooms fade: thorny pods develop and become hard and sharp, ripen, and burst. And so, the moonflower monster begins anew … Both beautiful examples of the natural and the preternatural. Moonflower Monsters drinks incredibly crisp and effervescent, with a pale off-white appearance to match the flower itself. We doubled up on rice in the grain bill, using the nutty flavors of jasmine rice to compliment the more drying flaked white rice character. A whirlpool addition of blueberry and raspberry blossom honey adds an unmistakable, yet underlying berry note to the crisp finish.
