Glacial Melt

This beer was brewed in collaboration with Farnham Ale & Lager VT. What we concocted is a hybrid style IPA drawing form traditional Norwegian styles and modern New England Styles. A Farmhouse inspired grain bill with floor malted pilsner, golden naked oats, rye, and spelt provide the backbone and body for the beer. We chose to ferment this warm with no temperature control using a Norwegian Kviek yeast from Omega Yeast. The esters produced lend aromas of honey and mango. We then dry hopped excessively with Denali and Lemondrop hops, creating huge notes of juicy pineapple, bright citrus, and tropical fruit salad.
